I was at a conference called Revolution of Consciousness where I discovered Dr. Beverly Marr, who is literally the posture guru.

I knew I wanted to dig in and invite her to provide her expertise on this podcast with you. If you have been experiencing tension in the body, it could be due to your posture. We're looking down to use our phones all the time but are we thinking about our posture while we do? This episode will raise your awareness up about your posture to another level.

In this episode, we dive into why posture is the most underrated health condition. Why it's important to have good and stable posture.

What's happening within the body when we slouch

How you can prevent physical neck and backpain

How your posture shows the world who you are

How the repetition in certain postures can affect the oxygenation to your organs

How your posture can affect your metabolism

and so much more!

Welcome back dear One!

I am settling back in from my trip overseas to Vietnam and Thailand, and I wanted to take time to share with you reflections that came into my awareness while I was over there.

It's so easy to lost in such a busy, always stimulating our senses kind of world. We drift away from our own desires and dreams without even realizing it. Then we become unhappy and feel unfulfilled. In this episode, I talk about coming back home to yourself to ask questions that guide you to your own internal answers. We also do a guided meditation.

No one knows you better than you know you.

The more you can spend some time in self-study by asking yourself these questions, the more you can deepen the relationship with yourself so that you fulfill your desires.

It has been quite a while since we've had an anonymous episode on the show. I love the raw true tales that come from the callers about overcoming the most difficult tragedies of life. These episodes highlight the humanness that is present in all of us and the stories behind the faces that make us who we are.

In this episode, our anonymous caller releases a story about being denied by her father at birth and could not be cared for by her mother by the time she was 8 months old. She spent her life being cared for in different households wondering if her father was ever going to want her as a child.

When she finally gets an opportunity to rekindle with her father, something tragic happened that left her questioning her self-worthiness of love.

Music was her home. Today, she is a singer songwriter and her voice heals people the way singing healed her as she was navigating through the trenches of life as a child and teenager with no parents. She found her gift in the times when she felt the most lonely and unwanted.

It shows how we must honor those tragic times in our lives because it plays a great role in connecting us to our purpose and our gift. I send so much love this caller.

Listening will surely send chills through your spine as you fall in love with the guest and her bravery.

In this episode, I had the honor of interviewing best selling author of Do a Day, Bryan Falchuk.

After facing life changing adversities back to back, Bryan created an approach to help others live a better life based with his Do A Day philosophy.

Bryan was faced with many relatable challenges in life like dealing with depression, self-criticism, judgement from others, living with obesity as a child while trying to sort through his parent's divorce, the stresses from work, depression, the duty of being a good father and husband. At one point, he was even told that his wife's illness was fatal. The most difficult part was having their son watch this all happen.

This contributed a shift in Bryan to wake up to life and live each day, better. Today Bryan shares that it is not just about overcoming the adversity. It's about asking yourself, "how can I create a life of happiness, achievement and balance?"

He has lost nearly 100 lbs., has ran a marathon and even transformed his diet into being vegan in just one day. He got his masters from a top school and rose to a senior executive position in a successful business. And now he’s a best-selling author, has spoken at TEDx events, and has written articles for many major publications like Inc. Magazine, the Chicago Tribune and LA Times. He’s transformed his life and developed an approach to help others do the same that he teaches in his best-selling book “Do a Day”, and he’s here today to share that philosophy with all of you.

Here is what you will learn:
-How to use each day to contribute to your goals to live the life you want
-The 3 building blocks to living better each day
-How to identify your true motivation (not what you think)
-How to be free from the past or the future
-Bryan's personal struggles
-How to achieve greater success
-How to take specific action
-Why we must start with self-love

This philosophy will you to achieve your goals without the self-criticism of our past choices or the worry of what lies ahead.

Bryan is also a regular contributor for Inc Magazine (https://www.inc.com/author/bryan-falchuk) and does many keynote speaking events, including an upcoming TEDx.

Bryan Falchuk overcame adversity, lost nearly 100 pounds, ran a marathon, dramatically changed his

Today, Bryan coaches many people on how to achieve their goals and thrive.

Bryan's quotes throughout the episode:

"You have to focus on the self love because how can you expect to overcome what’s standing in the way and achieve the things you really care about if inside you don’t feel like you deserve it or you’re worthy of it.”

"Self-love is pervasive in all that we do."

"Start allowing for the possibility that you are good, you’re capable and you deserve it."

"Find what's wrong, call it out and fix it but it makes us hypercritical because we are trained to look for what’s wrong in ourselves."

I am so moved by the unique, deep and profound story of today's guest.

Nichole Sylvester is an unapologetic spiritual success coach, author and transformation speaker on a mission to guide people home to themselves. Her work helps many to discover their innate power and undeniable purpose.

In this episode, we dive deep into the inspiration behind her memoir, OH SHIFT, A Journey from Chaos to Consciousness (releasing May 17th on Amazon)

At the most tumultuous time in her life, Nichole found herself battling with drug addiction while raising a young child in the midst of an abusive relationship. Shortly after escaping from the relationship, Nichole received notice that a woman had been murdered in her home.

This interview dives into Nichole's inward quest to heal on a higher level of consciousness.

In this episode, you will learn:

-About the resiliency of the human spirit
-That just because you've gone through "shameful" experiences does not make you unworthy
-Nichole's story about battling drug addiction and the generational patterns that destroyed her family
-The one part of you that remains unbroken and undamaged
-About relationships and the role they play in your life
-How to own and accept yourself for who you are
-How to show up if you are an entrepreneur with a mission on your heart
-What happens when you own your story
-Attachment to your identity and how it holds us back

This episode and Nichole's memoir will set many free.

Nichole's Quotes Throughout the Episode:

"People shift when they have wounds around love.”

"Everything that happened to me was perfect.
We don’t know the higher reason for all of that."

"The things that we find shameful and we think disqualify us form the goodness in our life...it has so much power and strength and it connects us with other people and it's part of the human experience.

"When we admit and own all of us, we can find our power in so much of it."

"If you are here and there is a mission on your heart and you step up for it, the way will be shown.”

"If we can own all of us and accept it then other people can to."

"Our personalities are created to adapt to our environment and to dis-identify with it and allow yourself to play and to be role less."

"What were really afraid of is that we’re going to lose love.
We’re never going to lose love by honoring who we are.
Our desires are a direct call to action from the Divine. So why do we deny them or doubt them."

"You are in the midst of your biggest victory story."

Ep 17| Soultalks: Having a Gratitude Mindset for a Thriving Day

Today we talk about what kind of mindset it takes to approach the day so that when it's time to go to bed, we can reflect back and be darn inspired by how much we thrived.

What i'm talking about is having the mindset of gratitude. Now, I know you hear about this a lot, especially if you're a self-help junkie, but maybe you've never heard about it from an energetic standpoint.

In this episode, I break down what it means to have a Gratitude Mindset, why and what it does to our mind and energy when we begin to practice it and implement in our every day lives.

This episode will help you to frame your day by framing your mind. Help you understand how to be the master of your thoughts so that you can thrive in your life, business and relationships.

I also make some fun announcements about upcoming episodes that we have in store for you.

I'm so excited for you to listen.

EP 15 | How to Break the Cycle of Unconscious Wiring To Step Outside of Comfort and Create a Meaningful Life with Dr. Chris Fasano

I know I say in every episode that “I have a very special guest” but it’s because all of my guests are truly special.
They have so much wisdom, practical experiments and direct experience to offer.

What if I told you that today you’re going to learn about what exactly is happening in your brain in moments of fear, getting outside of your comfort zone and rewiring old habits so you can create new ones?

Pretty awesome right?

Today I am introducing to you, the incredible neuroscientist, Dr. Christopher Fasano, who gives us an insight into the process of the brain and what happens when we become complacent in our lives. He teaches us how to take control of our mental health by understanding the science of the brain and learning how to become more self-aware of our thoughts.

We talk about:

-Dr. Fasano’s background and what led him to have a desire to study the brain
-Why he is passionate about human interaction
-Why it’s crucial that we begin to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and take risks in our lives
-A clear insight on what’s happening in our brain when we are complacent
-How to NOT be controlled by unconscious thought patterns or old memories
-How to Hi-Jack Your Own Brain for Your Betterment
-Why we judge ourselves and our actions
-Questions to ask yourself to become more self-aware

Dr. Chris Fasano’s sayings throughout the episode:

Find what it is that gives you that pleasure

Taking the risk was the best thing that ever happened because that’s where the world realigns and it forces you to do what you need to do, where if you stayed and linger—you could still get there but  it would take longer.

"THAT UH-OH moment is your most creative and opportunistic time. It is when you are in that uncomfortable state.
Only at that point in your life where you can stop and say to yourself “Okay, what do I want?” Because anything is out there for you."

Fitness and wellness is an anxious proposition
If you can lower the anxiety of a human about to better themselves, than you’ll have a higher conversion rate.

"Human beings are not designed to be comfortable.  We were made to be uncomfortable but we’ve evolved to be comfortable and that's the problem. Evolution has taken over and for some reason, it makes us think we have to become a comfortable society. It's okay to be baseline safe but you’ve got to step outside of your comfort zone. “

"Fear comes from region of the brain called the amygdala. Humans have developed a big amygdala overtime and once activated, it sends impulses to your pre-frontal cortex which regulates your higher level thinking and they have a gateway battle.

When things come in, it blocks the impulse. It subverts fear responses and it says, “whoa, whoa, whoa don’t do that.” doesn’t even let you become afraid so complacent humans don’t have anything wrong with them--they are just safe where they are.

Once the brain establishes circuitry and mechanism, it doesn’t want to change. It requires a lot of energy and neuro- rewiring to do that. "

"They want to progress but their brain and wired to establish this mechanism to stay the same.
Brain gets comfortable in its wiring and it doesn’t let you- something needs to happen- need to be helped — need to be pushed by an outside factor”

Psychologists estimates that 90 percent of our behaviors goes on without conscious thought.
The brain is designed to automate behaviors. It gets into a loop and operates on it.

People have to do a risk assessment of personality and life style. Look at routines and where can you take room to take risks. Do an analysis of your risk. IF you’re not living a risky life, you have more room to try something.

Focus on what you’re good at and that will always bring to you the next step

If you are willing to be uncomfortable for a little bit, there is going to be sunlight.

If you can hi-jack the brain to become an auto loop on your product, people will buy your product forever.

Humans were never meant to perform individually. We are social society where we are supposed to interact and benefit from each other. And if we allow ego to make us think that we ar the only way things are possible that no one else can contribute, you're going to fail.

It's okay for the brain to seek pleasurable things that are good for you. Get your mind addicted to the right thing

Dear Self Declaration

"I know you’re in there, I know what you’re capable of. I am going to take every step I can to make sure that you SELF are the true self that I know you are. "

Ron's quoteable's throughout the episodes

"Why not choose to say “I have power and I can change the world. I can be responsible with that power and intentionality.”

"Leaders fear being found our that they’re imperfect. Your humanity, your imperfection, your fallibility is your greatest asset and greatest source of credibility."

"Leaders have to appreciate that the IMPOSTER syndrome has a cost to other people."

"Millennials were the generation raised with the message "you can change the world."

"If you dig up underneath behind what's the driven-ness to advance? It's really the driven-ness for impact— NOT FOR SUCCESS."

"The good leaders are the ones who realize “the more I know, the more I don’t know” They begin their day with I don’t know. They solicit feedback. How can I serve you better? "

"You can spend the rest of your life singing to your hairbrush, but why wouldn’t you want the real thing? "

"Some of the best chapters of our lives don’t have titles until a little later. Most of us put the pen down rather than say I’m gonna co-create my story."

We have a special guest!

In this guest expert episode, I interview the inspiring Nicole Walters, my dear friend. By age 28, Nicole Walters was a highly-paid executive at a Fortune 500 company, managing multibillion dollar accounts. But something wasn’t right. “My job was feeding my family, but not my soul,” she says. So in YRTK, Nicole quit her corporate job to focus open her own private business and product development consulting firm, The Monetized Life. As her audience ramped up, so did her revenue—she made $11,000 in the first three weeks of working with small business clients full time. Now, when she’s not hanging out with her husband and their three foster kids, she shares her secrets to earning “passive income” with other entrepreneurs through her wildly popular online course, 1K1Day. “I teach people how to add commas to their bank accounts,” says Nicole. “They learn that they don’t have to trade time for money.”

She is someone who is going to touch your heart and fill you up with joy!

After quitting her corporate Fortune 500, six figure making job in front of 10,000 people on Periscope, her life has unfolded and transformed in the most abundant, fulfilling and wildest of ways!

We talked about her life before becoming a successful working adult.
-What it’s like to grow up in poverty and be children of hard working immigrant parents
-How to make inner transformations happen so that your life can completely change on the outside
-How to find joy in the journey
-How she became a millionaire and is raising three beautiful sisters that she adopted
-The power of being present in the moment
-Making a body transformation as a cherry on top
-How to find balance as a entrepreneur and an entrepreneurial mom
-How to find courage to leave the comfort zone to live your best life

This episode is dense and packed with inspiration, wisdom, real life experience to inspire you to live your best life.

Nicole Walter's sayings throughout the episode:

"My dad told me, "you can either clean up the building or have your name on it."

"If you finish the thing you are supposed to do, find the next piece to get ahead"

"No one is excluded from being their best self and providing their greatest gifts to the world"

About Being Present

"Anxiety is praying for things that you don’t want.
Worrying all day about things you don’t want.
Invest emotional, energy into things you do want instead."

"Being present in that moment where ever you are is the ultimate goal. If I am able to live in the moment, that is what I’m chasing. If I can be there completely, then I am living my life completely . God is giving me moment to moment and every moment is beautiful."

About leaving the comfort zone

"Fears are about leaving the familiar, it's not fear of the unknown. "

"Because you already know what you have, you already know how to get what you have. Which means you can go ahead and embrace the unknown because you can always come back. "

About Purpose
"There is no shortage of corporate jobs but there is definitely a shortage of me and my purpose so let me go ahead and take a shot right now because its a risk worth taking."

"The only way that I could get out of fear was to DECIDE that I no longer subscribe to it. IT was make or break. My only alternative was to survive."

"Decision is extremely powerful. The word itself means to cut off. When you decide it means to cut off anything that no longer serves you."

"People don’t make decisions because their not ready to pull out of something. People think they want something but they don’t truly decide that thats what they’re going to have."

"You have a right and a responsibility to abundance"

"The true law and the true intention of our position on planet birth is that we have a right."

"It's not a choice, it's a right. It's not a decision, it's a responsibility."

"Our service cannot be fulfilled unless we are supported by universal abundance and by universal abundance, I mean money."

It's one of my favorite times of the day where I get to sit down, tune out, and tune into the microphone to share Soul Talks with you on what is sitting in the seat of my heart.

Are you a nurturer, giver and someone that truly cares about others at heart? If so, you might be prone to be what I like to call a "story adopter".

When you adopt other peoples stories and you begin to live it in sacrifice of yourself- it is not called love, it is called a disservice.

In this episode, we talk about the struggle of stories that we hold on to that do not belong to us and how it causes a strain in our relationships with the people that we love, and more importantly, with ourselves.

I share with you my own experience with adopting someone's story.

That someone is my mom, someone who was considered a leftover after the Vietnam War.

Follow me through the journey of what it looks like to be a story adopter, the burden that it places on our backs, how it affects our relationships and how we can change that to make room for self-care, self-love and self-mastery.

Learn how you can begin to honor yourself by taking a listen to this episode.
